In Vietnam, only 15% of surveyed companies have committed to or planned for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), but have not yet fully or partially implemented it. The main challenges remain their admitted lack of ESG knowledge, unclear regulations/guidelines, and leadership's capacity on ESG-related issues. Facts indicate that the primary reason these challenges persist is the lack of integration of ESG into core business strategy and execution (PWC 2023, IPSC 2024 & Respect Vietnam 2024).
This event will explore the transformative power of two key accelerators in enhancing ESG performance at the company level: the LEAN mindset and Organizational Learning. These elements are essential for anyone seeking to deepen their ESG understanding before integrating ESG into core business strategy and performance.
The event also aims to highlight how lean ESG practices, empowered by organizational learning, can serve as an accelerator for integrating ESG principles into core business performance. As well as how this approach effectively bridges the well-known gap between ESG strategy and execution, through fundamental mindset changes in applying LEAN and customized business models in practice.
