Young Business Leaders by AusCham (YBL) is a new and exciting opportunity for young business leaders to gain access to some of Vietnam's most recognized business leaders. Each month, YBL will hold an event giving participants the opportunity to learn, discuss and knowledge share with some of Vietnam's brightest business minds.
YBL's launch event on Tuesday, 6 September 2022 will present a keynote speech, followed by Q&A from Gabor Fluit - CEO Asia of Royal De Heus. Gabor Fluit is exceptionally experienced in global retail, commercial banking and agri-business and will share his experience and journey to success.
YBL events are themed each month - Septembers YBL event will focus on HR and discuss 'How to nurture, find and create teams that excel'. The event will have a keynote speech, Q&A, break-out discussion groups focusing on issues on leadership in HR.

Our keynote Speaker - Gabor Fluit, a Dutch National, joined De Heus in 2008 to establish the De Heus Vietnam business, after working for 5 years for ABN Amro Bank where he started as a management trainee. He was recruited by De Heus because of his knowledge of the Vietnamese language and culture, being married to his Vietnamese wife. He started as the GM for Vietnam, became responsible for the Business Development in South East Asia in 2012 and was appointed as Business Group Director Asia in 2015.
De Heus Vietnam, part of Royal De Heus Group, is a global top 10 animal feed supplier with products available in 75 countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. De Heus Vietnam was established in 2008 through the acquisition of two existing animal feed factories in Binh Duong and Hai Phong and has achieved strong growth through supporting independent Vietnamese farmers and positioned a strong role as value chain coordinator. In December 2021, De Heus acquired 100% of MNS Feed from Vietnamese Masan group with two strong local brands Proconco and Anco. After 13 years of growth, De Heus Vietnam has 18 factories in Vietnam and distribution network in all 63 provinces across the country and become the largest animal feed supplier in the independent Vietnamese market
