Ms. Hoai is in charge of forming the coalition’s development strategy, managing operating activities and buiding partnership with Vietnamese businesses, encouraging them to take action to achieve gender equality in line with their corporate context. Ms. Hoai has more than 20 years specialising in training and consulting, and 15 years of management experience in both private sector and social organizations, with significant contributions in women's economic empowerment in Vietnam. Currently, Ms. Hoai is also Vice President of the Hanoi Association for Women Entrepreneurs (HNEW).

Julie Doherty is a higher education specialist with over 20 years experience in the career education. learning and teaching and student engagement sector. Management experience gained through leading a team of Career Development Consultants to deliver faculty based career sessions in addition to centrally based workshops and one to one consultations. Industry experience in co-ordinating careers fairs, employer presentations and panels. Experienced in a number of career development instruments and keen to embed real world skills in curriculum.

Measuring by deliverables and results focused, I am keen to make a difference in the education sector across a range of areas. Natalie is an experienced senior leader with extensive international experience, global connections, and relationships in the business and not-for-profit sectors.
A qualified lawyer and governance specialist, Natalie started her career in Australian corporate law firms before moving into senior executive management roles in the property and advisory sector. Natalie made her mark as a trusted leader in the industry, developing a reputation for her ability to build long-lasting relationships, providing strategic advice to boards and executives and driving great cultures.
Natalie currently runs her own Management Consulting company, Ascending Strategies, which provides governance and strategic advice. She has a passion for working with organisations big and small to help them with strategic planning, connecting and growing to reach their potential and is known for her enthusiasm, energy and integrity. In addition, she also provides strategy and governance support to management and the international board of directors of the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation.

Laura is a Spanish entrepenur who co-founded Chula fashion with her husband, Diego. Shas been living in Hanoi since 2004. In that span of time, Laura has helped the Chula company grow to include more than 60 artisans, four (4) shops and is now traveling around the world organizing fashion shows and Chula pop-ups.

As Chula founders fell in love with Vietnam, they decided to work with local artisans who create hand-made clothes. Although 80% of Chula artisan team has some form of disability, according to Laura, they are artists with super abilities. With steady hands and eyes, the Chula team has produced hundreds of striking pieces

Chula Fashion's slogan explains the company's unique vision; "Slow Fashion - Wearable Happiness - Social Utopia." The eye-catching style of Chula's design is inspired by nature, geography, gastronomy or in other words, life itself. The Chula brand is best known for its vibrant colors and craftsmanship, reminiscent of the artwork made by Vietnam's ethnic minorities. Rich textiles from Vietnam is a big feature in Chula designs, incorporating the use of ethnic fabrics that are naturally dyed, hand-weaved or hand-sewn.

With a fashion designer for a mother and a graphic designer for a father, Cynthia grew up with a love of design and textiles, designing and sewing from an early age. After performing, directing and designing theatre productions she moved into the film and television industry as, amongst other things, an art director and designer.

Cynthia first visited Vietnam in 2003, when a friend was making a documentary. On that visit she fell in love with Vietnam and moved to Ha Noi in 2008.

Future Traditions grew out of her love of Vietnamese ethnic minority textiles. Cynthia’s aim is to create new markets for "at risk" traditional crafts by working directly with ethnic minority communities to produce new textiles for her clothing collections. The Future Traditions clothing range highlights these textiles in contemporary styles for everyday wear. She also creates a limited edition range featuring rare and vintage textiles.

Vietnam became our new home in 2015, when our Founder Mari first arrived here.
Missing a taste of home, Mari used to make her own Hummus and Falafel for her family in Vietnam, to remind her of the food she ate everyday growing up in Egypt.
